Follow sign boards to Modimolle (Nylstroom). Follow sign boards through the town to Vaalwater R33.
Once in Vaalwater follow the signs to Melkrivier R33.
At the T-juction follow the signs left to Marken.
At the T-juction in Marken, turn left and then right onto the Baltimore road R561. Shelanti is located approx. 11km from the turn off, on your right.
From Lephalale (Ellisras).
Exit Lephalale in a Northerly direction on the R510.
Turn right onto the R518 toward Marken, until you see sign boards indicating R561, turn left here.
Shelanti is located approx. 11km from the turn off, on your right.
By Air
Shelanti is also accessible by small air craft. The landing strip is not registered and is gravel but in very good condition. The cross-shaped landing strip is 1200m long each way and is at 3300 ft alt. The landing strip is surrounded by electrified fencing. The landing strip’s coordinates are: 23º25’59.0”S 28º25’03.2”E
